Eventing has just launched a new competition that may transform the sport of equestrianism. The new format eventing is being likened to Cricket's Twenty20 format.

The new event will take place on Sunday 30th November 2008, starting at 11am, at Cardiff's Millenium Stadium.

The Top 20 riders in the world will take part in the 3 disciplines of eventing in one day including 4 minute freestyle dressage to music; show jumping against the clock then a cross-country style course against the clock.

The winner takes a first prize of £100,000 - the biggest in wold eventing, with £150,000 shared amongst the rest - so competition will be FIERCE!
